Language Barriers. A very short story by Peter Harvey

In these times I get upset. Sure… I get upset. I get upset in Italian, about most things, most days. I’m upset with lockdown mainly. But when I’m not upset, I’m not upset in Irish. I need props but if I get them I’m very much not upset in Irish. That said, if you break an egg on my head, from 2 meters or less, I’m Hispanic angry. And nobody needs to see that. The rest of the time I’m happier than two old fellas and a wee lad chasing the beaten docket down an alley. As you do.
