Won’t you join me on Zoom? A poem by Sally McHugh

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere
So let’s raise a glass or three
I invite you Cosmopolitan, White Russian
Share and shake a Dry Martini

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere
I’m breaking every rule
In these Dark ‘n’ Stormy times
I’m adoring Moscow Mule

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere
Bloody Mary is somewhat eerie
Too much tropical tomato juice
Best mix me a Daiquiri

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere
Sling your Singapore or Iced Tea
From Long Island to Manhattan
I prefer my Gin Fizzy

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere
Won’t you join me on Zoom?
A cocktail party to remember
An escape from our doom and gloom
