Time by Bhavya

The days are pale this summer
with a tinge of negativity,The crowd has parted ways
to find the solace in the destiny,

Cursing the time for behaving oddly
with a sudden birth of thine: the virus,

You are engulfing
the world
with your droplets and particles in the breath,

What made you so puissant?
when, we have all the technology of this century,

Doctors are becoming the nightingale in the sky
chanting the melody against the evil,

The time has hence proven the value
of the Sun, the Moon, the Stars in this catastrophe,

People are terrified of being positive
with the alarming numbers,

The days are pale this summer
with a tinge of negativity,

The crowd has parted ways
to find the solace in the destiny,

Masks are ruling the markets
becoming an attire of the nation,

You have weakened the resources
in this period of retrenchment,

Is the time naïve in the fight of tomorrow?
People are criticizing the time
to satisfy the inner soul,

You have announced your arrival in the dark
the time will debilitate you
in the day,

It’s time to be firm and stable
we are not afraid of you: the virus!
