Marion Clarke’s short form poetry has featured on Japanese NHK World TV, Haiku Masters. Her haiku has been published internationally and translated into Chinese, Farsi, Bulgarian, Croatian, Spanish, Italian and French and placed in several international competitions. Winner of the Financial Times ‘Poet in the City’ haiku competition, Sakura award winner in the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival, finalist in RedLeaf Poetry Awards, India, runner-up in the Irish Haiku Society’s competition and in Croatia’s Ivanić Grad Pumpkin Festival competition, her work has been published in leading, international haiku journals, Tokyo’s Mainichi and the first two national collections of haiku from Ireland.
