To all the Dads, Grandads and Husbands,

Today is the day we show our appreciation
for everything you do.
Gifts, cards and messages of thanks,
will be sent across the nation.
Gather together if you can, if not,
maybe a virtual celebration.
A difficult day for those whose
loved ones are no longer here.
Reminiscing on happy memories
of those they still hold so dear.
So lucky to have my Dad,
always here for my family and me.
So near that I can visit him
and share a distanced cup of tea.
So lucky, I have the best Dad,
blessed with the best husband too.
So today I count my blessings,
