When The World Stood Still. A Children’s Poem by Charlotte Murphy

I climbed the biggest hill
When the world stood still
It was all for free
No charge, no fee.

I planted some flowers
When the world stood still
They grew beautifully in the ground
There was joy to be found.

I missed my friends
When the world stood still
But we waved across the garden wall
And I didn’t feel so small.

I spent days with my family
When the world stood still
We didn’t always see eye to eye
But we helped each other get by.

I looked for the good
When the world stood still
At first it was hard to see
But I found it all around me.
