Out there with the virus and other plagues
the meanness of the old square block
meanness and bullying
of the broken and fragmented corners

….the hammering of broken corners broken people
so that they fit together
jammed up and contagious

…the disease of this thing
burns in flames at night
…distant beautiful star.
