Nature. A poem by Adam Trodd

Know this.
We have been watching you
And we don’t like
The cut of your jib

Your words, that drip like honey
Clogging up the ears
Of the eager to hear
Anodyne coins, just the right size
For the same old slots

Cans kicked

We have been watching you
We have your number
We have called time
And now you are listening.
