Crazy Corona, a poem by Monalisa Dash Dwibedy

When the forsaken roads grumble,
Awaiting travellers footprint,
Life stands still in your city.
Resist the urge to run and slowly turn

back. Lock yourself in home.
Turn your thoughts away from escape,
Curse the ancestors of Corona,
Watch the news , the deadly virus spreading

continent to continent , country to country,
city to city , day by day
Numbers are increasing.
When the stagnant moments overwhelm you,

surrender yourself to your calling.
Spend time with your loved ones,
Be one with yourself
Remain still , let silence be your voice
Pray , be grateful for being alive.
