Clearing the air. A poem by Liz Houchin

Between us now DaVinci’s span
revealing all of us at once
the frame of mind no longer filled
by just that bit of you I like
or just that bit of me you don’t

When we stand as saplings
in this orchard of the mind
the sun and rain can reach us all
buds will blossom on our boughs
roots will spread and hold us firm

And once the air is crystal clear
truth will refract across the sky
and cast a rim light on the lies
of men who only rule in smog
and they too will be revealed

  1. This is beautiful work! I shall share far and wide. Breath these words in and pass them on, healing our collective mind and heart.
