Isabel’s Song to Make You Happy. A poem by Isabel Walsh, age 7

No gongs from the church bells
No ringing for lunch
The playground is empty
You wouldn’t hear a crunch

You should change that
Make some noise
You should change that
Play with your toys
Cos you can make a difference
Cos you can make a difference

Just go to the park
Try to make your dog bark
Make people happy
Cos they’re getting angry
Just sing a song
Make your mum sing along

Cos you can make a difference
Cos you can make a difference

I’m going sing this song
Try and sing along
If you take my advice
It’ll add some spice
If you take my advice
You won’t need a device

So sing along, so sing along
Now you’ll make people happy
So they won’t be so angry

Cos you can make a difference
Cos you can make a difference
